Ok, So I have version 1.0 of the E-520, finally. Right now for the next week or so I will also have a L-10, not really enough time to do a full review of the L-10. But I will at least post some thoughts about it later.
First a note about images. Since my images keep showing up else where I decided that all images on the web will be watermarked. Which I really don't like, but that is life.
On all the test's I have used as close to the same settings as possible between cameras. However it isn't quite the same.
+1 sharpening on the E-520 is sharper than that on the E-3.
The Noise handling of the E-520 is more than that of the E-520.
Right now all the tests are done in Jpeg's because the only raw converter is Studio/master.
Lastly, I am using the 35-100mm because it has a tripod foot, and I can than just attach each body to that lens, and have the same basic shot.
Gallery is located here.
Test #1 - Long 60 second night shot.
E-3 on left E-520 on Right
100% E-3 100%E-520
I actually had to redo the E-520, so the camera is in a different place, because on review of this image, off my porch at night, I had the noise filter set to normal, and everything was just blurry from the in camera noise reduction.
Test #2 Pure White to Black - Last night off a lamp I went from pure White of the lamp to pure black.

In the gallery click on a image and than select original size to view the 100% if you so desire.
Samples - ISO 100 to ISO 1600 & E-410, E-3, E-520 - On the E-520 Noise filter was set to low and High. Low is (2) in the group.
Really all ISO's are very good except ISO 3200 off the E-3 in my opinion.
But really I found that as entertaining as shooting brick walls. So I don't know if I will repeat it. :D
Yesterday at around 2 When I figured it would be the most challenging with the sun, I went out to compare the E-410, E-520, E-3, and L-10. But it was still quite overcast, and not really a challenge to the sensor.
Test #3 - The cows
Cow shots are hand held - E-520, E-3, and E-410.
